Responsibility for the preparation, plotting and digitizing of patterns, development of samples, evaluating the sample for fit and ensuring that technical parameters are approved of new deigns/concepts developed by the Design and Product Development teams.
And also be responsible to prepare mini-markers, evaluate and calculate fabric and trim consumption whilst coordinating with the Fabric Inspection & Cutting Departments to resolve all relevant issues.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar capacity.
The ability to draft and grade patterns with the aid of specifications and handle CAD software is a must.
Knowledge of pattern making as per measurements, garment construction, consumption, fabric properties and manufacturing process flow will be advantageous.

You will be responsible for the entire process and will ensure availability of cut panels of the right quality and quantity to meet the requirements of the plant.
You will adhere to the cutting plan to ensure that the order shipments are sent in as per stipulated plan & timelines.
While supervising and managing all the operations & people in the Cutting Department, you will attend to relevant technical and administrative issues and coordinate with cross functional teams to arrive at speedy solutions.
You will ensure that high productivity is maintained in the cutting room by minimizing material wastage.

You should possess an academic/professional qualification in garment manufacturing. An additional qualification in textile/fabric technology is desirable.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the industry is required.
You should have the skill to communicate effectively with the necessary stake holders & maintain excellent interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible to monitor the weekly and monthly shipment plans and see that deliveries are sent within the stipulated time.
You will be responsible to validate the finished goods against the packing standards.
You will work closely with Production, CIF, Planning and Merchandising teams to ensure that the orders are fulfilled as per the shipment date with the required quality standards.
You will ensure reconciliation are done on time.
The ideal candidate
An academic qualification related to Garment Manufacturing, together with lean manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in finishing is a must. You should be able to work under pressure and have effective communication skills.
You should maintain good interpersonal relationships and possess good time management and task prioritizing capabilities.
You will be methodical and have the aptitude for constructive analysis.
